The connector presumably we all know, but the connector is a particularly large category, different industries on the connector is not the same name. Now I’ll explain to you some of the commonly used connector terminologies.
1. RF Connector: Refers to the connector used in the RF range which the frequency of 3 HZ-3000GHZ between the radio waves.
2. Coaxial connector: refers to the inner conductor with dielectric support, the structure can be measured in the frequency range with the minimum internal reflection coefficient.
3. High-performance connector: refers to a frequency response to change the reflection coefficient limit of a connector. The frequency range is between 3MHZ-30MHZ radio waves. Usually within the specified size tolerance than the corresponding level 2 connector strict, but need to ensure that the connector to meet the reflection coefficient when asked, the connector manufacturers have the responsibility to choose more stringent tolerance.
4. Sealed Connector: Refers to a connector that meets the specified gas, moisture or liquid tightness requirements
