At present, test items of pin header connectors is divided into five major parts:
1.FAI (full-scale measurement inspection report)

2. Mechanical performance test
It is divided into insertion and withdrawal force test, vibration test, mechanical shock test, contact holding force test, contact pressing force (positive force) test and life test, etc. The purpose is to imitate the principle in the actual use of consumers. According to the set parameters until reaching the design requirements, so as to verify whether the product performance can reach the designed range.
3. Electrical test
Electrical test is divided into insulation resistance test, contact resistance test, withstanding voltage test, temperature rise test, etc. Insulation resistance is to verify whether the insulation performance of the pin header connector meets the requirements of circuit design, and whether its resistance value meets the rules of technical design in a high temperature and high humidity environment.
4. Environmental testing
It Includes salt spray test, constant temperature and humidity. The product simulates the it is used in a natural and harsh environment, after the time test is completed, check whether the phenomenon produced by the product meets the set requirements.
5. Environmental testing
That is also called testing of harmful substances, we often say RoHS, halogen-free/HF. RoHS is divided into RoHS1.0 and RoHS2.0. Among them, RoHS1.0 contains 6 items [lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), hexavalent chromium (Cr), polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs)]; RoHS2.0 contains 10 Items (Add 4 items on the basis of the original 6 items of RoHS1.0: 1. Diisobutyl phthalate DIBP, 2. 2-Ethylhexyl phthalate DEHP, 3. Phthalic acid Dibutyl ester DBP, 4. Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP).
